1st day – Welcome to St.Petersburg!

Arrival in St. Petersburg airport. Meeting with the guide.

Detailed City tour by bus. Within it you will drive along the most popular sights of our beautiful city such as Point of Basil Island, Palace Square with famous Winter Palace, Menshikov Palace, Academy of Fine Arts. We will drive along Nevskiy Prospekt – the main street of our city. You will see such places as Arts Square, Catherine’s Garden, Anichkov Bridge, St. Isaac’s Square, Bronze Horseman. At the most beautiful places the guide will supply you with more information and will offer you to make a stop for taking photos.

Visit Peter and Paul Fortress – «Russian Bastille». While this guided tour you will be shown around the first building of St. Petersburg - Peter-and-Paul Fortress. Its corner-stone was laid by the emperor Peter the Great himself. That is why its image often appears as a symbol of the city. As to say the history of St. Petersburg started from this place.
You will visit Peter and Paul's Cathedral that is located in the territory of the fortress and is the final resting place of many tsars (the last of them was Nicholas II who was re-buried there together with his family).

2nd day – Cards of St.Petersburg

Breakfast in the hotel.

Meeting with the guide for tour around the most popular places of the City and suburbs.

Walk around the Palace Square. You will see the most significant buildings on the square are: “The Winter Palace”, General Staff Building with its famous arc, the “Alexander Column”. The “New Hermitage” with figures of Atlas at the entrance and “The Hermitage Theatre” are located a little to north from Palace Square.

Tour of the incredible Hermitage Museum in the Winter Palace.

The Hermitage is among the world's largest museums. The Hermitage boasts a vast collection of Egyptian, Greek, Ancient Roman, Oriental, Western European Art, and Applied Arts. The museum has over 2.7 million exhibits and is visited by over 3.2 million every year. To learn all the collection you need to go 25 km about!

Guiding transfer to “Russian Versailles” to see the most magnificent summer residence of Russian tsars - Peterhof, or Petrodvorets. Peterhof is located on the southern bank of the Gulf of Finland. Originally Peterhof was a maritime residence of the Russian Emperors. Tsar Peter the Great wanted to show that Russia became one of the most powerful nations with a fleet. During the private tour to Peterhof you'll see the largest, and the most beautiful fountains in the World. All fountains of Peterhof work without any pumps, starting from the beginning of the 18th century. The Peterhof is the greatest of all the city's suburban estates.

Transfer to Petershof and back (or one way) to Saint-Petersburg by high speed boat “Meteor” (30 min for one way). You will enjoy a wonderful view of the city and the Gulf of Finland from the hydrofoil.Landing is in the Center of the City.

Drawbridges Night Tour. This tour is your unique chance to feel the magic of Saint-Petersburg. You will take a wonderful 4 hour excursion along the Neva river with stops and Boat Trip under the raised bridges: Dvortsoviy, Troitskiy, Liteyniy. The trip starts before the opening time of the bridges. You will see an amazing view of festively illuminated palaces, embankments and the main waterway of the city, living it's secret night life and the caravans of ships silently move on the dark water from Gulf of Finland to Ladoga lake.

3rd day - Architectural gems of St. Petersburg

Tour to town Pushkin for Tsarskoye Selo, the favorite place of the Catherine the Great and an open-air museum. It is an outstanding example of the world's architecture as well as park and garden art, with the Catherine Palace in the center, which was created by Rastrelli in Russian Baroque style. The Great Hall of the palace and other staterooms, amongst which there is worldwide known Amber Room, will carry you away with its magnificence.

Back to the City and time for Lunch (extra payment).

Boat trip along rivers and canals. Saint Petersburg is often called the Venice of the North, and this is not by chance. In the city there are 86 rivers and canals, which total length is 217 km. Once the summer comes (usually by the end of April), a boat trip is an essential part of any sightseeing holiday to St. Petersburg. Great views, bridges, wonderful architecture, incredible interlacement of rivers and canals together with charming atmosphere of the city create very romantic environment.

Folk-show "Feel Yourself Russian" at the Nikolaevsky Palace is a unique performance, which allows to feel the history and soul of Russia! You will visit the beautiful Nikolaevsky palace - real masterpiece of imperial architecture, built by architect Andrey Schtakenshneider for Grand Duke Nicolay, son of the Emperor Nicolay I.

The show program includes Russian folklore songs and Orthodox hymns, Cossack songs from Don, Kuban and other Cossack regions of Russia, lyrical dances of the Russian North, humorous choreographic miniatures of the Urals and Siberia, and of course the amazing stunts and famous Cossack dance.

The show consists of two parts (45 minutes each) and lasts for 1 hour 50 minutes including the break. During the intermission, the rich buffet table, with canapes, red caviar, ham, cheese, salami, vodka, wine, champagne, juices, water, and fruits, will be offered to the guests.

4th day (St. Petersburg – Kazan) – Between two Capitals

Meeting by guide for excursion to one of the two most famous temples to choose:

Isaac Cathedral by Montferran, which gave 40 years of his life to build a masterpiece of architecture with 112 columns of 114 tons granite for each of them.

Church on the Blood was built on the point of the assassination of Alexander the 2nd as a memorial to the tsar-martyr on the money collected all over Russia. The unique interior of the temple is made from millions pieces of colored mosaic.

5th day (Kazan) – The heart of Tatarstan

Walking excursion to KAZAN KREMLIN will not leave anyone indifferent.

Kazan Kremlin is the object of UNESCO which walls united two religions – Moslem (Legendary Kuhl Sharif Mosque) and Orthodox (Annunciation Cathedral).   You will touch the walls of SUYUMBIKE falling tower. Kremlin is a heart of the city, where ancient and modern cultural traditions, as well as legends and facts, blend together.

 “Kazan Arbat”- walk down the Baumana Street – the street of 4 centuries, the history of the central trading street of Kazan, the ensemble of monuments and architectures of the city:

       Bell tower of the church of the Epiphany where Fyodor Shalyapin was baptized

       State Bank, which kept the gold reserves of Russia;

       fountains and a copy of the carriage of Catherine II

6th day (Kazan) – Friendly Kazan

City-tour “Kazan – my love” with visiting Kazan Kremlin
During the excursion you will visit the most interesting and ancient sightseeing in Kazan: Old-Tatar Sloboda, the Kaban Lake with its picturesque views, merchant houses, the old mosque of XVIII century and will hear legends and stories of Tatar people. Tourists will walk along the old Kazan, visit the monastery, where the miraculous Kazan Icon of the Mother of God is kept.

Visiting the Museum of 1000th anniversary of Kazan in the National Cultural Center you will hear the history of Tatar people and its origin.

13.30 Lunch in one of the city café with master-class “secrets of tatar cuisine”. Tourists will see how to make tatar dishes and will try to make it themselves.

7th day (Kazan - Moscow) – Magic Island

Excursion to the city island Sviyazhsk with lunch

The history of the city began on May 24, in 1551, when Ivan the Terrible decided to build on the island a wooden fortress. It took only four weeks. Sviyazhsk became a base supporting Russian troops in the war against the Kazan Khanate.

The island has unique historical and cultural monuments, such as Assumption Monastery of the Blessed Virgin, Sviazhsky Cathedral, John the Baptist Monastery which has the Trinity Church on its territory - the only remaining building from wooden Sviyazhsk. Through many centuries Sviyazhsk has been remaining a Russian Orthodox shrine.

Return to Kazan. Visit the national shop “Behetle” with souvenirs and traditional meal.

8th day (Moscow) -

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide.

Sightseeing tour around the City.You will see the Three Station Square, Stalin skyscrapers, Lubyanskaya Square and the building of FSB, the Novodevichy Convent, Avto-metro Bridge, Vorobyovy Gory and Mosfilm, Poklonnaya Gora and the Triumphal arch, the Business center "Moscow city" and a monument to the founder of Moscow – Yury Dolgorukiy, Manezhnaya Square, the Bolshoi theater. Visit of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, constructed in 1812 as a monument to the Russian people for his courage and heroism (the temple was blown up in Soviet period and it is restored in the XXI century according to historical drawings).

Extra: Excursion to the Bolshoi theater. The Bolshoi Theater is one of the most famous theaters in the world and certainly the most famous theater in Russia.

9th day (Moscow) – The Heart of Russia

Breakfast in hotel. Meeting with the guide.

Excursion to the Moscow Kremlin – the biggest of the Kremlin of Europe the residence of the Russian President, a symbol of the Russian statehood and one of the largest architectural complexes of the world. You will see demonstration of ceremonial of pedestrian and horse divorce of the Presidential regiment (on condition of good weather). Visit of the Assumption Cathedral (the main temple of the Russian state with XIV – XVIV. In it crowned on a kingdom of the Russian tsars), the Archangel's Cathedral (a place of burial of the Moscow grand dukes and Russian tsars), the Annunciation Cathedral (the house temple intended for family prayers of an imperial family), the Rizopolozhensky temple.  From a window of your bus you will see ensemble of the Grand Kremlin Palace  – now it’s the residence of the Russian President. On the Red Square you will see St. Basil's Cathedral – a symbol of the Russian capital. Free time in the City center.

Excursion to Arbat street, one of the ‘visit card” of Moscow. Walk along the Arbat is a real journey in time. Each step is associated with the life of Russian and Soviet artists, poets, composers, physicians, artists, filmmakers, patrons and representatives of noble families. You will hear the names of Pushkin, Golitsyn, Tolstoi, Skriabin, Stalin and many world-famous people about.

Extra: Excursion to Armoury room - a treasure-house that preserves ancient arms, the tsars’ crown jewels and many magnificent works of art.

10th day (Moscow) - Welcome to the Past!

Breakfast in hotel. 

Meeting with the guide for excursion along the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy.

Walk along the Park with themed pavilions to learn the history of collecting of the most advanced achievements in the Soviet Union. You will see a space shuttle “Buran” here (outside view of pavilions in the park). Also, you will see a giant sculpture Worker and Kolkhoz Women of the epoch of socialism.

During excursion to Cosmonautic Museum you will learn people live in zero gravity about, see a space station inside, hear the world-famous names of the conquerors of space and a lot of other interesting information.

Free time in the City Center. Back to a hotel independently.

11th day (Moscow – Golden Ring)

Meeting with the guide

Departure from Moscow to Sergiev Posad. Excursion to the grand complex of the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius and its cathedrals, the most important spiritual center of the Russian Orthodox Church, and a kind of orthodox Lourdes thanks to presence of a miraculous spring inside the monastery.

Lunch at a local restaurant and departure to Vladimir.

City tour around Vladimir with a stop at the impressive Golden Gate, a sort of triumphal arch and a testimony of the ancient fortifications; a visit of the architectural jewels of the XII-XIII centuries: the Dormition Cathedral (Assumption Cathedral), the Cathedral of St. Demetrius, the Cathedral of the Nativity Monastery; a visit to the Museum of Crystal.

Transfer to Suzdal and accommodation at the hotel.

12th day (Golden Ring)

Breakfast in hotel.

Excursion to Suzdal:visit to this town-museum focuses on its major symbols starting from the XI-XV centuries; the Kremlin, the Museum of Wooden Masterpieces, an open air museum of great ethno-anthropological importance of the XVIII-XIX centuries. In winter the visit to the Museum is replaced by an excursion to the Monastery of Saint Euthymius.

Departure to Kostroma.

City excursion at 4 p.m.: during the tour you will see the Ipatiev Monastery (Hypatian Monastery), the most important artistic monument founded between the XIII and XIV centuries and its interior; a visit to the Trinity Cathedral. Departure to Yaroslavl, one of the most ancient towns of the Golden Ring, founded in 1010, full of churches, monasteries, and beautiful buildings in Baroque and Neoclassical styles. Its old town is a part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. Arrival in Yaroslavl and accommodation at the hotel

13th day (Golden Ring - Moscow)

Excursion to Yaroslavl: visit to the Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior, one of the most important monuments of the XII century, the Church of Elijah the Prophet, XVII century (in winter the visit to the church is replaced by the Museum of Icons).

Departure for Velikiy Rostov.

City excursion starts from the Kremlin, dating from the XVII century and no doubt the most beautiful of the region, and continues with a visit to the museum where you can admire the rare and valuable collection of icons, paintings and miniatures in enamel by local artists.

Departure to Moscow and arrival in to the City at ~07.00/07.30pm.
